The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words; Rei which means “Gods’ Wisdom” or “Higher Power” and Ki which means "life force energy". When placed together they form Reiki which is "spiritually guided life force energy."

Reiki is a Japanese technique which promotes healing and reduces stress while increasing relaxation. It is based on the idea that an unseen life force flows through all living things and is actually the force that is responsible for us being alive. If our life force is high, it is easier to feel happy and to maintain optimum health. If it is low, we feel stressed and vulnerable to illness. A holistic healing system, Reiki treats the spiritual, physical, emotional and mental body. A Reiki treatment is meant to give one a feeling of peace, relaxation, wellbeing and security. Miraculous results have been reported by many who have received the treatments. People say that they are filled with, and surrounded by, a glowing radiance.

We offer Reiki to animals, and to their caretakers when they are going through challenges, especially those that come with providing loving care to our non human family members going through difficult passages.

We also maintain a Reiki Box where in we place requests for Reiki, and facilitate Reiki Healing to those included in the box. A special program is our Prayer for Mother Earth Reiki Box. Thsi box is brought to our Public Prayer meeting where it is infused with Reiki. The Box includes the names of specific geographical locations and adresses where Mother Earth is threatened with environmental damage.
